I love the flavours of this refreshing Pineapple Berry Yoghurt Smoothie! All I feel like eating lately is fruit and vegetables, summer seems to do that to me. I like to drink a smoothie everyday and this is one of my favourites at the moment. With the addition of healthy fats and protein from the yoghurt, LSA and chia seeds this smoothie is a meal in itself.
Two handfuls of berries, I used blueberries and strawberries
1 2.5cm (1") slice of fresh pineapple, outer skin and core removed
1 tsp chia seeds, soaked in 2 tbsp water for 5 minutes
1 tbsp LSA (leave out for nut free option)
small handful of ice (optional)
1/2 cup acidophilus or coconut yoghurt
1 tsp raw honey
Place all of the ingredients into blender and blend until smooth, adding a little water if needed. Serve and enjoy..
