Tropical Breakfast Smoothie

If you love having smoothies for breakfast you will surely enjoy this one! This recipe is dairy and refined sugar free and tastes absolutely divine. I've used coconut cream instead of regular milk which gives it a lovely creaminess and enhances it's beautiful tropical flavour.


                       Soak the almonds and steel-cut oats over night to really allow the enzymes to become active..


Serves 2 small or 1 large

Ingredients:
1/4 pawpaw, peeled and de-seeded
2cm slice fresh pineapple, peeled and hard centre removed
1 orange, peeled
1 frozen banana
1/4 cup steel-cut oats
small handful almonds (just cover oats and almonds with water and soak overnight in the fridge)
2 tbsp coconut cream
1 tsp honey
1 -2 tbsp water if needed

Method:
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.. Serve it right away!
