Omega-3 Breakfast Smoothie

This smoothie has loads of essential nutrients to get you going in the morning. Jam packed with omega-3 fatty acids, also known as polyunsaturated fatty acids, these good fats can improve cardiovascular health, prevent diabetes, improve brain function, and may even help you lose weight. Because of their anti-inflammatory properties, omega-3s can also help relieve skin conditions like rosacea, psoriasis, and eczema.




Serves 2

Ingredients:
1 banana
1 ripe avocado
1 pear, washed and core removed
1 handful blueberries, fresh or frozen
2 cups rice milk, or other milk of your choice
4 Tbsp coconut milk
4 Tbsp chia seeds
2 Tbsp cold pressed flax/linseed oil
1 Tbsp hemp seed protein powder or flour (optional)
2 tsp raw honey

Method:
Place all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth and creamy.. Serve immediately.
